Reviews
We had a great time watching Perth Thunder. There was plenty of parking especially if you park behind. Facilities could use some upgrading and drink pricing was expensive!! $5.20 for a 600ml drink is a pit exxy. But overall good experience
Cheap rental skates are nice here. Very good place for beginners to start off with. There's no moldy smell like other ice arenas do. 15 bucks for 2 hours is very nice for the quality of the arena. Recommended.
Decent sized arena. Reasonably well maintained. Regular lessons are done here. Also has a cafe. Nice temperate if watching too.
Worst experience, never want to go back again.
I enrolled my daughter for lessons. It comes with 4 free public sessions, which has to used during the enrolment period. the time table is confusing and have no much scope of using these free session. If we tried to ask clarification, this man at reception starts speaking loud about terms and conditions. On last lesson I tried asking if i can use one of free session for my elder daughter he start speaking about terms and conditions loud without courtesy. It was rude and insulting.
on one of lessons the tutor was not available and he combined the classes and the tutor was giving lessons to 18kids, which is not allowed. I think he didn't read his own terms and conditions.
My daughter was so fond of ice skating and we were looking to continue her with it. But with this worst experience, don't want to see his face back again. Shameless people.
Customer service is out of this world and after reading reviews no wonder this place doesn't want to improve their Customer services. The review is there for you to read how people experienced your place and maybe try getting better at it. Lovely place
Rude, racist and staff who discriminate
- Josh at the front desk was very rude
- Adam kept yelling instead of asking politely and when asked why the reply was "this is a free country I like to yell"
I dont think employees get hired to be rude to customers.
- Hope the owner (Alex) can sort things out as this place is out of control.
- kids had the worst birthday celebration
- no option to reply to the comment received back from them so here is an edit:
1)you wanted entry before the session started (the session actually started at 12:45 and there was no one at the front desk till 12:50, so pls atleast say a lie that all the ppl waiting could believe aswell).
2) then did not follow safety instructions (got yelled at for putting my head in the arena to see where the kids were, the guy yelling said u haven't gone in yet but im yelling incase u plan on going in to prevent it 😂)
3) wanted to change the food that was set (one of the kids invited to the birthday were vegetarian so we asked to see if the meat pie and sausage roll could be replaced with hot chips instead, don't think thats asking for too much 🤦♂️)
Great place for the family. Nice big Family skating arena. Good facilities.
I went with my work mates on a fun activity day. We arrived there at about 12:45pm for the 1-3pm sesh. On arrival nobody was there and the place look dead, we walk in and a man said on a really unfriendly way “we don’t open till 1” we came back to the reception area and wait there. About 10 min later a lady with a little boy walk in and apparently were asking for a private lesson the lady enrolled the boy in, she was quite confused, the man at the reception was overly rude to her, not helping at all to the lady who was really confused. The reception man said “it looks like I have to reading people’s mind today”, me and my workmates were kinda shock of the tone and way we spoke to the lady.
He wasn’t friendly and welcoming at all.
I don’t know much about ice skating, but the ice was quite watering on some spots.
We had fun, but the customer service could definitely be better.
